Welcome to Cities on Water. Thanks for stopping by. We spend our time here talking about water and why it’s great for you, as well as ways to help you conserve water because we believe that its a valuable commodity and is wasted more than we think it should be.
We want to help you appreciate water more, and help you save more water painlessly. To help you appreciate the power of water more we talk frequently about rivers and what role they have in the formation of our landscape and how they can help shape the landscape and the incredible effects that moving water can have – especially when a lot of it comes at once (ie a flood). Even though there’s a lot to break down with water, we still really enjoy watching it move and the effect that it has on the landscape, so we talk about what it’s doing, what it’s done and what we expect the water to do in the future. I mean look at the black canyon of the gunnision – that entire canyon was carved by flowing water and it’s incredibly deep!
We also want to help you save water around the house. Water is something that we dont really think about, but we use it every day and dont notice too much about it until it goes away. We are going to show you readers some really simple tricks that will help save some water around the house and not even know it. There are many simple changes you can make to showers, toilets and sinks that result in major water savings and major money savings! We are here to help, so read up or email us if you have a question.
