IIn 1996 the Cracow Polytechnic, in agreement with the secretariat of
the I.C.O.M.O.S. for Poland and the Cracow City Council, promoted the
International Conference on Conservation Kraków 2000.
The
steering committee was composed of members from a number of European

Italy, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Belgium.
The Committee's Chairman was Andrzej Kadluckza, Dean of the Faculty
of Architecture of Cracow Polytechnic.

architectonic restoration at the Venice University Institute of Architecture.
The International Conference on Conservation was held 23/26 October
in Cracow, as part of the programme of the European Cities of Culture.

the results of the activities carried out by the respective chairmen
